February 2008 - Super Abrasives Engineering, a channel partner of MAG, attended the Singapore Airshow event from February 19th to February 24th at the Changi Exhibition Centre. This 6-day event managed to draw 800 exhibiting companies from 42 different countries, with more than 30,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries.

November 2007 - Held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre from 15 to 18 November, Metalex housed over 3,900 new metalworking tools and technologies spanning across 11 international pavillions. With the theme 'The World of Machine Tools Empowering ASEAN Manufacturing', the 21st edition of Metalex attracted 50,000 Thai and ASEAN buyers and a sum of over 4 billion baht worth of business value was predicted to have been generated from the show.

May 2007 - A Memorandum of Understanding for Technical Assistance and Cooperation was signed between Michael Deckel, Super Abrasives and Universiti Teknikal Melaka (UTeM) for the development, design and manufacture of high precision cutting tools for the machining of aerospace components.

March 2007 - A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Michael Deckel & Super Abrasives with the German Malaysian Institute (GMI) whereby Michael Deckel will provide GMI with one unit of the latest fully equipped Michael Deckel 5-Axes CNC Tool & Cutter Grinding Machine for a loan period of one year with the aim of providing support for the development of technical knowhow of Malaysia’s future generation in tool & cutter technology. Prior to the delivery of the machine, engineers & technicians from GMI underwent 8 weeks of in-house training at Super Abrasives in Singapore. After the successful installation & commissioning of the machine in September 2006, Super Abrasives continues to provide regular servicing & maintenance of the machine as well as regular updates on grinding technology & knowhow to GMI.

April 2006 – Super Abrasives held a 4-day seminar in Thailand spread over 2 locations at the Marriott Resort & Spa Hotel in Pattaya and the Krungsi River Hotel in Ayutthaya. Two half-day sessions were held on each day where our German specialists were on-hand to present the latest equipment, machines & technological developments from Supfina, Helios and Michael Deckel.
This exclusive by invitation-only event was attended by over 70 personnel from companies in the precision engineering, automotive & aerospace industries located in these provinces. Through the informative presentations & engaging direct discussions with our German specialists, our seminar participants are able to not only gain valuable knowledge on the latest technological developments but also find solutions to improve their production.

July 2005 - Super Abrasives Engineering held a special in-house event showcasing the latest precision measuring technology from Helios. The showcase included presentations and live demonstrations by our German technical specialists on the Helio Scope 350 - a non-contact universal optical measuring machine for round parts which is fast, accurate and completely independent of operator influence - as well as the Helio Pan II 800 - a flexible compact shaft measuring centre for fast and accurate measurements of all dimensions of turned parts.

December 2004 - An open house event was held in collaboration with Deckel and Cemecon. Highlights of the event include live demonstrations on the Deckel S20E and S22P CNC Grinding Machines and discussions on tool grinding techniques, as well as the introduction of Cemecon coating technology and innovative coating solutions for precision tool manufacturing.
